Today we went on a guided tour around the Bay of Santander by boat. We saw all the sides on the coast but from the water. We saw the Centro Botín, Palace of Magdalena, and many of the other important buildings of Santander, including the lighthouse. The Cabo Mayor lighthouse presides over the entrance to the Bay of Santander. It is one of the most important and emblematic buildings for citizens and visitors alike and holds a privileged position between the city and sea.

After the boat tour, some of my friends and I went to the beach. The Playa de Camellos is named this because there is a rock in the water near the beach that resembles a camel. The weather was beautiful and my host mom made me a tortilla and ham sandwich for the beach.
